Delivery Policy

FAMCART currently provides delivery only within the **Aizawl City area**. This policy explains our delivery schedule, charges and procedures.

1. Delivery Area

Orders are delivered only to addresses within FAMCART’s serviceable areas in Aizawl City.

Delivery availability will be determined using the address entered during checkout. If an address is outside our serviceable area, we may be unable to accept or fulfil the order.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, working phone number and any necessary delivery instructions.

2. Delivery Schedule

Orders placed:

Before 5:00 PM: Delivered on the same day.
At or after 5:00 PM: Delivered on the following delivery day.

FAMCART is closed on Sundays, and no deliveries will be made on Sunday.

Accordingly:

* Orders placed after 5:00 PM on Saturday will be delivered on Monday.
* Orders placed on Sunday will be delivered on Monday.

3. Delivery Time

FAMCART does not provide fixed delivery times or customer-selected delivery slots.

Orders will be delivered during the course of the applicable delivery day. Customers should ensure that they or an authorised person are available to receive the order.

FAMCART may contact the customer by telephone or another available method before or during delivery.

4. Delivery Charges

There is no minimum order value for placing an order.

* Delivery is free for orders exceeding ₹500.
* A delivery fee applies to orders of ₹500 or less.

The applicable delivery fee will be calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is placed.

5. Receiving and Checking an Order

Customers are encouraged to check the delivered items against the invoice or order summary at the time of receipt.

Any missing, incorrect, damaged, expired or unsatisfactory product should be reported in accordance with FAMCART’s **Return, Replacement, Cancellation and Refund Policy**.

Accepting delivery does not prevent a customer from reporting an issue that could not reasonably have been identified at the time of receipt.

6. Unsuccessful Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed because the customer or an authorised recipient is unavailable or cannot be contacted, FAMCART will attempt delivery again on the following delivery day.

If the second attempt is also unsuccessful, FAMCART will contact the customer and decide the appropriate next step based on the circumstances. This may include arranging another delivery attempt or cancelling the order.

Customers should inform FAMCART as soon as possible if they become aware that they will not be available to receive an order.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

FAMCART will not be responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible address provided by the customer.

If the address cannot be located, FAMCART will attempt to contact the customer using the contact details provided with the order.

Any further delivery arrangement will be decided after communication with the customer.

8. Delivery Delays

FAMCART will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders according to this policy. However, delivery may occasionally be delayed by circumstances such as:

* Severe weather;
* Traffic or road conditions;
* Vehicle breakdown;
* Local restrictions;
* Product availability;
* Technical or operational difficulties; or
* Other circumstances beyond FAMCART’s reasonable control.

Where a material delay occurs, FAMCART will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and provide an updated delivery arrangement.

9. Order Changes and Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they are marked Out for Delivery.

Once an order is out for delivery, cancellation will not normally be accepted, particularly where fresh or perishable products have already been packed and dispatched.

Cancellations and refunds will be handled according to FAMCART’s Return, Replacement, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
